The first thing I want to say is thank you to all of my friends and colleagues, loyalty is not a characteristic easily found but very much appreciated. They say “timing is everything”, so let’s talk about that for a minute.
One thing we can all agree on is that time goes by quickly. My thoughts quickly and clearly go back to when I was a child swimming and fishing at my Grandma’s house on Lake St. Clair…not a care in the world except who would catch the bigger fish (typically my Grandfather, he loved those BIG catfish).
Very rapidly, life changes…then what? Fast forward 42 years… you’ve now “experienced” life. All of the things that I like to say, “it sounds like life to me” (one of my favorite songs), excitement, pain, poverty (hopefully not much), wealth, happiness, love, loss and growth. My 23 year old daughter moved out last week for the first time… sadness, happiness, all mixed together… life changes.
In November of 2010, I was privileged to have been given the opportunity to make a career change. For those of you that have known me for the past 10 years, you know that change isn’t something that I take lightly. I put a tremendous amount of time and thought into “what I want to be when I grow up”. I may or may not be grown up yet… we’re all entitled to our own opinion but both personally and professionally I made the best decision for me, which was to join Magnus Title Agency as the Vice President/Director of Sales. There are always challenges during any transition but the reward has and is priceless. Our corporate leadership, escrow staff and sales team are tremendously talented, professional and an even better description “HAPPY”. It’s a breathe of fresh air!
It’s been 6 months now since my career change and I thought it was time for an official announcement, so here it is….stay with me (I promise not to bore you to tears)! I’m more than confident not only did I make the right decision but it’s very clear that I work with the most professional title agency in the industry. I’ve heard it said, “we’re the little fish”… feel free to grab your fishing pole and watch the Marlin come in because they already are, I can assure you of that! Paul Gunther gave me a great analogy, as he always does,,,, Remember the “baby-backs” the Diamondbacks when they had a bunch of no-names (which is definitely not the case at Magnus Title Agency…we have ALL the names) in mid 2000′s they made the play-offs. We’re well on our way to the World Series!
This is what happens when life changes, you wake up excited, happy, looking forward to what new experience you’ll have today…isn’t that what life is all about? It is for me. I just want to thank you for all you do… (NO that isn’t a sales pitch!). I don’t have to pitch anything, our reputation and expertise speaks for itself. Stay tuned for more!
